People have often said to me that my music is very visual, that when they listen they are transported to an imaginary place of their choosing as the sounds roll over them it creates a private cinematic storyline, to folly and enjoy alongside the music.
I've always really enjoyed this idea, that music is very much an internal visual experience, as much as it is about sound. I'm pleased to offer this experience to people and would love to hear from your experiences of this with any music!

About - Swoon -

I made this track back in April 2020, when a whole lot of the world wasn't making sense to me. About a month into the global pandemic and based out of Madrid, the reality of the situation was really hard to grasp, and even the most staple of saviours had little to offer by means of support. We were in total lockdown and things were dire.
Much like I have always done in times of personal crisis, I dug into music. I started exploring new ways to make sounds and Swoon is a subtle yet powerful probe into the previously unknown world of electric guitars and feedback loops, overlaid with an electronic drum machine and some live drum recordings and samples. It is delicate yet empowered, elegant and raw, it is defiant and grounded at the same time. It is a song of contrasts and contradiction, so given the current global situation of endorsing racial justice and equality, it seems a perfect time to release Swoon.
